Now that you’ve registered your practice with Reimbursify, please follow the steps below to ensure that claims for visits to your practice get processed smoothly. Failure to complete these steps could result in delays for your clients/patients claiming their money back.

  1. 1. Schedule an onboarding call with one of our Practitioner Specialists – Ensure that you are all set up and ready to get the most out of Reimbursify. Click here to schedule an onboarding call at a time that is convenient for you. (This is only available for Plus and Pro plans.)

  1. 2. Update your NPI profile – Some insurance companies will reject claims if the visit address on the claim is different than the visit address in your NPI profile. Also, some insurance companies may try to contact you at the mailing address specified in your NPI profile, regardless of the address that was on the claim. Please ensure your practice information is updated for your Type 1 NPI (individual) number and your Type 2 NPI (organization) number, if applicable. Click here for instructions on updating your NPI profile.

  1. 3. Send us your signed W9 form – Sometimes insurance companies request a W9 file in order to verify the identity of your practice. Having a copy of your W9 on file will reduce delays in getting claims processed.  Click here to generate a W9 form that you can sign and send to us in 2 minutes.

  1. 4. Register as an out-of-network practitioner

    1. With BCBS – When electronic claims arrive at BCBS, the NPI number and Tax ID on the claims are compared to the information that is on file with BCBS. If there is a mismatch, the claims may be denied. Click here for instructions on registering as an out-of-network practitioner with the BCBS entity in your state

    2. with UnitedHealthcare – When electronic claims arrive at UnitedHealthcare, the NPI number and Tax ID on the claims are compared to the information that is on file with UnitedHealthcare. If there is a mismatch, the claims may be denied. Click here to register as an out-of-network practitioner with UnitedHealthcare.

Remember, if you have any questions or need help with any of this, please book an onboarding call with one of our Practice Solutions Specialists.
